Buffalo MN Newborn Photography Studio

This past month we welcomed baby Kamryn to the Phodot Photography Studio in Buffalo for her first photo session.  Kamryn was just nine days old at her newborn photography session; the perfect age for her first session.  We photographed the wedding of Kamryn’s parents; so we are very excited to watch the family grow.

February can be a very cold and dry time of year for newborn photo sessions.  To keep Kamryn warm in the studio we used space heaters.  We also covered her in multiple fabric wraps to protect her newborn skin.  We also made sure to make time during the session for feeding so Kamryn would stay content.  Our newborn photography sessions usually run about three hours.  We use baskets, blankets and other photography props to provide mom and dad with multiple photography options.  We take photos of baby with siblings, and mom and dad during the session.

Big sister Kadance was so proud to share the spotlight with her new sister.  The photos of the two girls together are some of our favorite images from the session.  While the photo session is centered around the new baby; Mark captured the portrait of Kandance below as she waited for Kamryn.  Mom purchased a canvas connect of four photos; two of the girls together and one individual of each.  Including the portrait of Kandance below.

Pink and Blue Delano MN Wedding

Sometimes Mark and I like to take on a wedding or two each season by ourselves.  The challenge of photographing a wedding by yourself keeps you sharp.  Tyler and Tiffany choose to have me photograph their June wedding.  Here are a few of their wedding images from St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Delano, Lake Rebecca Park in Rockford and the American Legion in Buffalo.

Big Lake MN Wedding Photography by Phodot

As we celebrate the holidays we are loving the winter weddings we photographed in late November and December.  Snow reflects the sun onto the couples so despite the cold they glow with light.  Laura and Jay’s wedding features purple and white. Their ceremony was performed at Saron Lutheran Church in Big Lake Minnesota.  A reception at The Carousell Works followed.  The food was provided by A Catered Event and the rich layered cake was baked by Minah’s and more.  Please visit Phodot Photography for more information on our wedding photography services.
